I’ve been passionate about VR since the first time I tried it when I was about 12 years old [back in the early 90s!] and, despite the headset not fitting properly and the terrible graphics, somehow felt I had seen the future! However, it was little more than a pipe-dream until about 8 years ago when a certain Kickstarter campaign changed everything. Suddenly my dream was reignited and I instantly saw how much impact it will have on our future.
Since then I’ve had a flood of ideas for this new medium, some of which I’ve even managed to bring to life [thanks to Unity, Oculus’ SDK and my rudimentary coding skills]. So, if you have the time, I have a few case studies showcasing a few of the more interesting ones; some general experiments and ideas I’ve played with; and, for those of you who are strapped for time, I’ve made a gallery of pretty pictures
